The Picts were a confederation of Celtic tribes living in what was later to become eastern and northern Scotland from before the Roman conquest of Britain. Thats it for the history lesson. As for the other "anonymous" who wrote in on Aug. 13, 2010.. You were complaining that the movie distorted history. That it hadnt happened this way in history. I dont know if you noticed but its a *MOVIE*, it is supposed to make us interested in watching not doze off because they were careful to keep everything historically correct. That would be too boring in many cases of movies based on history. No. If youre interested in historical facts and insist on watching instead of reading, go see a DOCUMENTARY, thats what they are for. As for my opinion on the movie itself, I really enjoyed it. OK it had a lot of gore but I WATCHED A DOCUMENTARY regarding sword fighting since the Celts discovered how to meld iron with other metals, and I can say that the fighting was pretty realistic. They had to fight dirty at the time not like it is today with its rules and regulations, its protection gear and all that. Etain was gloriously vicious. For those interested, the documentary in question was "Reclaiming the Blade". (° v °)

This movie was a really enjoyable experience. I clicked it because it had the tags: "Action" "comedy" and "drama". At all those three I believe it succeeded exceptionally. Never seen anything quite like this! I didn't ever read the comments before watching the movie, and by doing so it didn't ruin my own personal view of the movie. which is good. If you want to make time fly, watch this movie, and watch it with optimistic eyes, and don't criticize it unneccesarily just because of a comment

I went to the Cinema, Saturday, to watch this and I thought it was pretty damned good (hence I am watching it again . I grew up at the time when Arnie was in his hay-day, so I loved the original movie. Predators pays so many compliments to the original and its fantastic to see the iconic sci-fi creatures back to their deadliest best. Forgive me if there are any AVP fans reading.....but the latest Predator outtings, along side the Alien, kind of diluted the whole essence of what 'they are' and it was a little bit too commercial for my liking...well I wont say any more on that subject. This is a great start for a franchise re-boot and I have already read that Rodriguez and co have some great ideas for a sequel. I highly rate this movie and its a must see. Quality is not bad at all - so a big thank you to the individual that took the time to upload it etc

I went to the Cinema, Saturday, to watch this and I thought it was pretty damned good (hence I am watching it again . I grew up at the time when Arnie was in his hay-day, so I loved the original movie. Predators pays so many compliments to the original and its fantastic to see the iconic sci-fi creatures back to their deadliest best. Forgive me if there are any AVP fans reading.....but the latest Predator outtings, along side the Alien, kind of diluted the whole essence of what 'they are' and it was a little bit too commercial for my liking...well I wont say any more on that subject. This is a great start for a franchise re-boot and I have already read that Rodriguez and co have some great ideas for a sequel. I highly rate this movie and its a must see. Quality is not bad at all - so a big thank you to the individual that took the time to upload it etc

You guys can't expect the movie to put everything that the show had. That would be impossible. Also when you watch a movie based on a book or show or anything, its a bad idea to have expectations because you are most likely to be disappointed because they can't follow exactly what the book, show, cartoon does. So have an open mind and instead of bashing it enjoy it. Think of it this way if you hadn't seen the cartoon this movie would have been amazing!!

Secondly didn't anyone tell these people how to pronounce any of the character names, really what the heck is *Uung* I clearly remember the Avatar's name to be *Aang* and *Soka* is not pronounced as it's spells it's *Suc-ka, and what is *E-roh* it thought *Zucko's uncle's name was *I-roh*. Anyway I found this very disappointing, when comparing it to the cartoon (which I have seen every episode btw)which I found to be the real thing.

Movie comments:I enjoyed the film. It was a little dark but overall the viewing quality was not that bad. The plot and summary of this film was not that far fetched from other science fiction films that i have seen in the past. However, it did have a different twist to it and I appreciated that. I don't enjoy watching the same type of movie over and over again. So,I think it was just right for me:-) Also, I was able to watch it in my home which is always a plus for me, thanks. :)

If your in your teens or early twenties you wont get the significance of this fantastic biog pic. If you understood The Beatles and there input into today’s POP-ular culture you will love this movie. Brilliantly shoot great acting fascinating insight into a twentieth-century icon.
Heartbreaking to see... knowing how he left the world prematurely. More people like John are needed in the world, and fewer people like Bush/Blair/Brown et al.
